Corpse Party review

Terribly executed horror anime

Good anime, but not in its genre. Corpse party is a horror anime that is supposed to make the viewer shiver… But it is not. Watching this anime made me laugh more than I did at many comedies. The combination of a tragic storyline with an even scarier animation and visible attempts to make this anime “terrible by force” really makes you laugh.

The characters are completely stupid and make the worst possible decisions, they are asking for their death themselves. Coupled with their terrible plot introduction, this gives us a mix of shit and vomit. The viewer does not care at all about their fate because of their poor introduction. When I watched it, sometimes I literally waited for a certain character to die, because they simply irritated me with their stupidity and design. Camera frames and animations of close-up zooms were done in such a bad way that a person who is afraid of everything would laugh at it. To sum up this short review, Corpse Party is recommendable as a comedy to watch with friends, but not as a horror film. There is really nothing else to write about in this awful production. I rate it:
